Doña Dora produces a range of improved wood stoves, for both businesses and homes in Guatemala. In 2016, Doña Dora was awarded an Enterprise Marketing Fund (EMF) grant from the Alliance to enhance their marketing activities. They equipped diners and food stalls at local markets with Doña Dora stoves, to create smoke-free markets. By branding these diners and cooks with their new marketing materials, including signage, table clothes, and aprons, they showed customers how Doña Dora stoves can reduce smoke while efficiently cooking delicious food. They also aired radio advertisements. Doña Dora partnered with Conjunto Publicidad, a Guatemalan marketing and communications agency, to develop their marketing plans and produce their creative materials.
