This year’s forum brings together clean cooking practitioners, project developers, investors, banks, researchers, social enterprises, government and donor agencies, foundations and NGOs to collectively develop a roadmap for universal access to clean cooking energy in India by 2030. The forum is organized by GIZ in partnership with the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, Shell Foundation, Tata Trusts, the World Bank, and the Clean Energy Access Network.

This year’s event is the 3rd edition of the forum that was successfully initiated jointly by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, operating on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in 2013.
