How We Are Funded
HOW WE ARE FUNDED
We rely on grants and investments from governments, corporations, foundations, civil society, investors, and individuals to support our work to spur the adoption of clean cookstoves and fuels. Our market-based approach brings together the public and private sectors to support research, clean cooking standards, and enterprise capacity building.
Donor governments currently provide the largest share of the Alliance’s annual program funding, however foundations and the private sector represent a growing share of the Initiative’s grant and investment resources. In addition, non-governmental organizations, the United Nations, multilateral agencies, and the private sector also play a major role in supporting the Alliance’s advocacy, research, governance, and implementation efforts.
For information on investing in the Alliance’s clean cooking programs, please contact us at email@example.com or +1-202-862-6307.
HOW TO DONATE
Gifts from private individuals play a critical role in the Alliance’s ability to support the work of entrepreneurs, women’s groups, research and testing laboratories, and other clean cooking stakeholders.
We deeply appreciate your consideration of a gift to support efforts to bring clean cooking solutions to families in the developing world.

Please check with your human resources officer to learn if your charitable gift to the Alliance is eligible for a match and what the criteria is for doing so. If so, please request a matching gift form and submit it with your donation to the Alliance at the above address.
The Alliance will verify your gift and send the matching gift form back to your employer so they can send the match amount to us. Gifts to the Alliance are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
